They dwelt in ease and peace upon their lands with many good things, rich in flocks and loved by the blessed gods.”

THE GOLDEN AGE OF GODS AND MEN
Long ago, before what we know as “recorded” history, there lived a race of god-men of striking beauty, who were free from old-age, illness, and toil. They needed not kill for food, but simply ate of the fruit and nectar that abounded in their garden paradise. They lived at the literal top of the world in a place where the Sun always shined. Bathed in unending light, these people lived at the nexus point of Heaven and Earth. These were people who walked alongside the gods, who themselves were the ancestors of humankind.
These humans themselves would be considered “demigods” by later understanding, as they lived in a state of such harmony and resonance with the Laws of Nature and Creation, that they possessed god-like abilities and life-spans. These were enlightened beings of great beauty who were keepers of the knowledge of the true nature of spirit and matter.
However something happened that caused them to fall from their elevated status. Some say it was a moral decline. Some say it was from mixing with other tribes of men. Some say it was the sort of unavoidable cataclysm, which tends to occur at a point during the changing from one Great Age to the next. Others still, would say that it was a combination of many differing factors that led to these beings’ fall from god-like stature and their subsequent exodus into the world we now inhabit.
In any event, the great civilization of those who dwelt in the Great Northern Lands declined, and they eventually spread and dispersed. These “Aryans” and their descendants who migrated out of this polar Hyperborea, followed a Solar religion dominated by the warrior ethos and the conquering spirit. This Solar religion would eventually find itself at odds with the Lunar and Planetary (Saturn, Jupiter) cults that were worshiped elsewhere.
LOST IN THE SANDS OF TIME
Myths and Legends across Europe and elsewhere spoke of a legendary place to the north where a race of incredible beings lived. This is the place where the Sun god Apollo would sojourn and was known to the Greeks as “Hyperborea”. It is here that Greek and Roman philosophers and historians like Pliny, Herodotus, Virgil and Cicero, reported that people lived to the age of one thousand and enjoyed lives of complete happiness.
In his book, “The Arctic Home in the Vedas”, author L.B.G. Tilak states that evidence of a great race of noble, light-skinned demigods can be found in ancient Hindu sacred texts known as the Vedas. These beings were said to have lied in what is today the Arctic Circle until a great cataclysm occured:
“…the Aryans were autochthonous neither in Europe nor in Central Asia, but had their original home somewhere near the North Pole in the Paleolithic times, and that, they migrated from this place southwards in Asia and Europe, not by any “irresistible impulse,” but by unwelcome changes in the climatic conditions of their original home. The Avesta preserves traditions which fully support this view. But these have been treated as valueless by scholars, who worked up their theories at a time when man was regarded as post-glacial, and the Avestic traditions were, it was believed, not supported by any Vedic authority. But with the time-telescope of a wider range supplied to us by recent scientific discoveries it has become possible to demonstrate that the Avestic traditions represent a real historical fact and that they are fully supported by the testimony of the Vedas.”
It is believed that during a time of great antiquity, the Arctic Circle was in fact near-tropical and humanity lived there in what is known as a “Golden Age“. Many ancient myths and legends as well as ancient historical texts do indeed point to a place around the Arctic Circle as being the location of this ancient land, and the peoples that inhabited them, particularly the fair-skinned Celtic, Germanic and Slavic peoples, as well as the fair-skinned Aryan tribes of India and Iran as the closest and most direct descendants of the mythical Hyperboreans, particularly in the terms of culture and society.
An interesting note about the Arctic Circle is that it is not some place that independent researchers are allowed to go without being accompanied by military escorts, who only then allow specific places to be visited. Anyone attempting to travel independently in the Arctic Circle without authorization or outside sanctioned areas will soon find themselves turned back at gunpoint. There are more than a few people who feel that something is being hidden up there, whatever that may be.
Texts like the Oera Linda Book and stories like the Bock Saga speak of the lands around the Arctic Circle as having once been tropical, prior to the Ice Age, and that humanity is far, far older than what we are led to believe. The Oera Linda Book speaks of an ancient empire led by what has been described as a succession of Northern European matriarchs who were in the lineage of the great Germanic mother goddess, Freya. It is said that Freya was in fact a living human entity who was the matriarch of a specific branch of the human race. This “Fryan Federation” is said to have once encompassed the entirety of Europe before the Great Flood.
The Bock Saga places a specific origin point in Finland in modern day Helsinki, as a birthplace for physical humanity, although requests and funding to do serious archaeological excavation work in the area have been repeatedly denied. Keepers of the Bock Saga like Jim Chesnar state that the Roman Church destroyed this place originally known as “Hel” where the Aesir “gods”, who were the progenitors of humanity, had lived during deep antiquity. The legend states that the skin color of these god-men turned white during the Ice Age due to the changing of climate in the north. It is these white god-men of the Northern Lands that the saga states are the ancestors of modern “white” Indo-European or Indo-Aryan peoples. The Bock Saga teaches that all of the ancient priest-kings and their empires, descended from this land of the Aesir.
As detailed previously, others point to the British Isles as being the mystical northern lands of Hyperborea, home of the “god-men”, or if not the original Hyperborea, perhaps a “colony” of some sort. There is an incredibly archaic megalith site at Skara Brae in the Orkney Islands in Northern Scotland, perhaps the oldest in the world. It is here that researcher and comparative mythologist, Laird Scranton points to as a “Point of Origin” in his book of the same name. Scranton had previously written about the Dogon Tribe in Africa and how their myths and cosmological understanding were surprisingly sophisticated and were claimed as having been inherited from Ancient Egypt.
Scranton found that similar artifacts and symbols as those used by the Dogon Tribe as well as the Ancient Chinese were found at Skara Brae. As a comparative mythologist, Scranton found that the location of Skara Brae matched descriptions in ancient myths and legends of a great “learning center” in the north where white, shining “semi-physical” beings taught and initiated representatives from various tribes of humans in sacred knowledge.
The sacred knowledge spread by these beings seems to have gone all over the world. Certain ancient Chinese myths and legends speak of their advanced knowledge of Chi energy as having been passed to them by light-skinned “immortals”. The Bodhidharma who brought Buddhism to the Far East was also said to have been fair-skinned with a red beard. Likewise in the Americas, we have myths and legends of fair-skinned gods like Quetzalcoatl that brought agriculture to the peoples of Mesoamerica.
In the ancient Celtic and Germanic tribes of Europe we see not only linguistic similarities, but also similar myths and cosmologies to both the Vedic spiritual tradition of the Indus Valley in India and the Zoroastrian spiritual tradition of modern-day Iran; the latter of which had a tremendous influence in shaping the later religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Ancient engravings in the Egyptian Temple of Edfu talk of a time when “gods” fled catastrophe and made their way to Egypt, bringing with them their advance knowledge and culture. Likewise, there is much evidence that strongly suggests that it was fair-skinned people from the north that in fact founded the civilization we know as Ancient Egypt. In “A General Introductory Guide to the Egyptian Collections in the British Museum”, author and “Keeper of Egyptian Antiquities” Harry R. Hall states:
“The oldest representations of ruling Egyptians, who may be presumed to belong to this race, shew remarkably a definitely central or even north European type, and it is very probable that this invading people belonged to an early folk-wandering from the ‘Nordic’ regions that made its way south through Syria, after possibly a period of settlement there.”
Like the Zoroastrian tradition, the spiritual traditions that arose out of Egypt played a tremendous role in shaping what became the Abrahamic religions, which themselves played a pivotal role in shaping the modern world- as well as stamping out the knowledge of this Golden Age people- or so it might seem.
